Sensual, Feminine and Futuristic EMPRESS Stiltdance offers a stunning range of mobile walkabouts, club acts, street theatre and short shows for a variety of ocassions. Fluid and Fantastical the EMPRESS charachters dance, play and interract with the crowd. From Butterflies to the Silver Suits their rich physical vocabulary and colourful personalities create an atmosphere of magic in the sky. Since 1997 EMPRESS has been based in The Netherlands.Originally from NZ Emily Buttle has gathered a company of up to 6 highly skilled female performers.Together they have covered a wide range of exciting events in and around Holland, Belgium and Germany as well as appearing at many international events. Highlights include: The Love Parade,The Venetian Carnival, Oerol Festival, Dance Valley, Lowlands and many more… EMPRESS has also developed a range of short shows. Stilts, masks, objects and original soundtracks invite the audience into a world of dreams and colour.
