Artemis are a troupe of performers, based in Liverpool, with an international reputation for creative street art and stilt performance featuring a fusion of elaborate costumes, live music, physical theatre and circus skills. Street shows, walkabouts and workshops are toured to indoor/outdoor venues, carnivals, festivals and corporate functions throughout the UK and abroad. If you’re planning an event then Artemis are the ideal performers to break the ice, liven things up and create a sense of fun and excitement at just the right level that the occasion demands. Recently we have performed at the V2003 music festival, The Streets of Brighton Festival, The Merseyside International Street festival, The Marseilles Carnival France and The Commonwealth Games Manchester. We’ve also made several TV appearances including CBBC, Hollyoaks and most famously on Richard & Judy becoming the first guests to play live music on the show. Our client list includes the BBC, BMW, Guinness, The Princes Trust, T-Mobile, Vodaphone and Weston Spirit.

These insectoid mutes, with glowing eyes and fluorescent bodies, love nothing more than a good beat and a boogie as they interact with audiences and your guests. The first creation from Artemis, they remain as popular as ever at clubs, festivals and carnivals. The Praying Mantas have also appeared on Mersey TV’s Hollyoaks.
