Claire from Arch in the Sky teams up with David of Duel Impact to form the acro-duo ‘Dare’. Whether performing acrobatic statues, walkabout or their act, the mixture of balance, control and up-tempo acrobatics is a true visual feast. Set to music with an Eastern feel, Dare’s act combines beautiful balances, flexibility and choreography with explosive acrobatic somersaulting flourishes and builds to a finale which demonstrates their superb strength, control and grace to the full.
From the age of five to fifteen Claire trained as a top level competitive gymnast where her natural flexibility and elegance was often remarked upon. She then pursued her interest in music playing both flute and harp to a high standard and obtained a degree in the subject. However the opportunity to return to sport presented itself when Claire successfully auditioned for the main aerial show in the Millennium Dome. Since then Claire has performed her aerial and acrobatic work all over the UK and the World.
Reflexion is the duo of Claire Ashmore and Sally Miller. Reflexion’s acts showcase their versatility, combining beautiful flexibility and handbalancing with a dash of acrobatics. Their current act, Oceana is set to dreamlike haunting music and combines breathtaking balances, elegant contortions and smooth choreography which will amaze and entrance any audience. Clients include Asian Racing Conference, Salt Mills, Urban Angels, Eventful, Glastonbury Festival.

Dare present their beautiful acrobatic statues for ambient entertainment during an event. Up on their 1m high plinth Dare are motionless, frozen into statues. Gradually they come to life and begin to move together, creating beautiful statuesque images. Demonstrating control and balance these statues have a special twist – they perform acrobatic balances. From lying on the plinth to balancing one above the other, Dare bring a special dimension to the art of human statues. Including many spectacular and breathtaking acrobatic balances, Dare perform a pre-planned set lasting up to 30mins, during which time only none of the skills are performed more than once – quite a feat! Perfect for any event, Dare statues has entertained guests at events all over the world!
