Arabesque was formed in 2003 to combine the shared vision of Sophie Page Hall and Zahara O Brien. With backgrounds in traditional and contemporary circus we aim to provide captivating performance using a fusion of circus and theatre. We have performed extensively across the UK and Europe at festivals, corpoarte events, galas, cabarets and clubs. Arabesque invite you to experience the enchanted Birdcage. Two fantastical lovebirds spin and entwine around their suspended hoop. Be entranced by these lyrical birds of paradise. This feathery 15 minute performance combines birdsong with a specially designed soundtrack. Birdcage is performed on a free standing rig (5 meter height clearance required) and is suitable for indoors and out. Directed by Skinning The Cat.
These flamboyant stilt creatures add a colourful touch of the carnivalesque to an event. These fantastical characters are visually enticing and provide exquisite entertainment.
Arabesque perform a graceful and evocative aerial silks piece as a solo or duet. From the evocative and balletic to death defying cascades, these acts can be tailored upon request. Performance height can be between 5 and 10 metres.
